Dress Forms

With over 40 years of experience in industry and education, we design and produce our FCE® range of body forms for universities, designers, and costume departments. 

We offer a selection of female models in sizes 4 to 16. They are available as short-leg, long-leg, torso and trouser models. We also offer the same selection in our male models in sizes 36-44. 

Our popular half-scale models are available in male and female versions, with short legs or as torso-only.

Features

We developed each of our Design-Surgery® dress forms to be anatomically correct, more relevant to today’s body shapes, and to give designers, tutors and students clearer information to judge proportions and style lines when working on the stand. 

Our more natural body shape supports the design and pattern-cutting process, especially for close-fitting garments. 

Every model in our FCE® range features detachable arm caps with true-depth armholes, helping create a more realistic working form. Most female models have collapsible shoulders. Our MF system dress forms can be neck-suspended or leg-supported, and both legs on our FB full-body long leg models are detachable. 

All full-size body forms come with a sturdy, stable metal base with four wheels – two lockable, and a foot pedal to adjust height, helping support ease of movement and setup.

Soft Arms & Heads

Our range of soft arms and heads is designed to enhance your experience with our Design-Surgery body forms and can also be used with other brands of dress forms.

We create each item in our North London Studio, where we stock standard sizes for both men and women. We undertake commissions to individual specifications.

Equipment

We offer a range of packs with selected tools, equipment and consumables that we consider necessary and useful for students starting a fashion course.

All the products in the packs are used and tested by us in our studio or other working environments to ensure they are functional, reliable, and good value for money.

We can tailor packs to suit the needs of individual courses.
