We created our soft heads as the solution to problems that students and pattern cutters often encounter when trying to produce the desired hood shape or a high collar without the permanent facility of a model.

The facial features help designers judge the hood's face opening. While working, pattern pieces or draped fabric can be pinned to the soft head.

Our heads fit on most torso stands, including those with finials.
